Meyer has always been a wonderful dancer. She has skill and grace and it got her into Le Ballet D'or at the youngest age ever. She works hard and wants to make her father proud.

Yet it's intimidating at Le Ballet D'or. All the woman look at her and push her away like they don't care, and those are the good ones. Others feel threatened and make sure she feels out of place. Her only consolation is her friend Sorynn, someone she has always known and who got in with the help of his sister. He talks to her and helps her and makes sure she is fine. They are inseparable, and she feels like he is the best thing for her.

When she was little, her father used to tell her the story of him and her mother. He was too old for her but they didn't care as long as they had love. She loves that story and when she met the older Tanner, she fell hard. She has a big crush on him and only confides in Sorynn, her best friend about it. Little does she know Sorynn is in love with her, and is in agony over the fact that she is in love with some other guy. He can't believe it and he is just trying to go on.

Meyer is having her own problems with her new found crush: he is taken. Not in all honesty, but the most competitive dancer, Taylor, has called him for her own. She is vicious and manipulative and if she catches wind of Meyer's crush, she will make her life even more horrible at Le Ballet D'or.
