The Greatest Heist of All Times
IS FINALLY READY TO BE PERFORMED.
[/blockquote][/blockquote]For centuries the world has been at war with itself. No one quite knows for sure, but there has always been the lingering talk of other entities existing aside from the humans that walk the face of the planet and call it their home. There have been many rumors of how these creatures shrouded in darkness came to exist. Perhaps it was when God banished Lucifer from the Heavens and cast him down. Perhaps it was when the mother wolf took in the two orphaned children Romulus and Remus and treated them as her own pups. Perhaps it was when Vlad the Impaler dictated his country with an iron fist. No one can be one hundred percent sure where they came from, or if they even truly existed.
But the people of Dallas, Texas, would tell you otherwise.
During the 1920s, a lone wandering vampire by the name of Royce decided to make the bustling southwestern city his temporary home. During the time of the Great Depression he noticed a huge surge in the amount of immortals that were being birthed from all of the devastation in the United States of America. Turmoil had taken over the city and vampires, lycans, and demons alike were taking their chances and made the best of the tough economic crisis. More and more humans were dying daily, and soon the city was in mayhem. As the citizens kept dying food supplies became scarcer and the immortals began fighting amongst themselves. Royce, being the supremacist that he is, decided to take matters into his own hands. He didn’t want to see the rest of the vampires die at the ravishing hands of other races, so he founded what today is known as The Concrete.
The Concrete isn’t a place underground, nor is it even a place at all. It is the term used for the governing system amongst the immortals that keep them all at bay, god willing. In order to do this, Royce called on three others to assist him, each from a different race. Sinclair was called into represent the lycans. Quidel was asked to come in defense of the demons. And Hudson was brought in to embody the angels. Along with Royce, these four formed what is known as The Alliance. They are the ones who are summoned when things get out of hand with the races.
However, just because an alliance was formed doesn’t mean that they all wished to get along. Only a select for are actually for unification, while all of the others are against. Each race, in retaliation, formed their own gangs: Torchia for the vampires, The Corsairs for the lycans, and Epsilon Modern for the demons. Every immortal in Dallas, Texas, partakes in the particular gang associated with their species and comes to them for guidance, protection, and an assortment of other things. Most members are against unity, although there will be the occasional few that want to unite the races. Others, however, just want to get rid of the rest so that they can claim the city of Dallas as their own territory.
But the other immortals weren’t the only ones in the city to fear. Hunters moved in and now they stalk the streets in order to rid what was once a pure world of any maladies, and are dead set on destroying the immortal population altogether. It is a harsh fight for survival, and only the fittest will come out on top.
The immortals want the hourglass of life for themselves, but will it be turned over, or will their time run out?
