Five months ago, Mr. and Mrs. Masters got into an airplane on a way to see a ballet act and never came back. No one really knew what ever happened to them, but everyone saw what happened to the plane. Five Masters children were left behind. Scarlett was inconsolable, her brothers were a bit better about it. However, when the will arrived, everyone was in for a shock. Legal rights to Scarlett went to...William?? No one ever expected that to come out. Sure, he was the eldest, but no one ever expected their parents to care about things like that. William was a self-centered, egotistical man who knew as much about his sister as he did his ex-wife. Sure, they had lived in the same house for years, as did all the other Masters, but he had no idea who she was.


Scarlett assurred herself nothing would change. Everyone still lived under the same roof. Her brothers would take care of her as a unit. She was almost an adult anyways. However, her brother is still legally her guardian. How will these two work around each other. Scarlett turned seventeen last month, which means they still have 335 to go before she becomes adult material. How will one little, innocent girl handle one big, very unfeeling man? They might have three other people around them, but somehow, things have changed. Now if they only knew what to do about it.
