After the Volturi left Forks five years ago, peace overcame the city. Shapeshifter and vampires lived harmoniously alongside the humans; secretly of course. Young Renesmee began to grow up, the wolves managed to graduate high school and soon everything seemed to roll along as if nothing had ever gone wrong.
Not to far off, a small rebellious group began to form. None of them liking the idea of the Cullens being allowed to live harmony, without the worry of being exterminated from the world as they know it. Their idea is unoriginal but effective: assemble an army.
Maria is of course, the head of the operation, finally having found her departed and most trusted soldier, Jasper Hale. The next is Royce King, assumed to be dead by the Olympic Coven. The third and final leader of this great attack is the young Gianna. Ex-secretary of the Volturi, and because of them, tortured into insanity.
It’s not only Gianna’s alliances who are changing, ever since the Battle; Jasper’s close friends Charlotte and Peter have stayed close. Having just been chased from their own territory by rouge vampires, they fled to the Cullens, who of course, took in the pair to live with them. However it couldn’t have been at a worse time.
Maria, Royce and Gianna’s new borns are starting to grow. Humans in Forks, Washington are one by one beginning to fall, worrying the shapeshifters and keeping them on guard. Sam’s automatic accusation is of Charlotte and Peter, they arrive and people begin to die off. However the Cullens rise to defend their friends and loosing those they’d made in Samuel Uley’s pack.
Charlie was killed not to long after Jacob took on the responsibility to protect him, tipping the family into shock and sadness while Bella slides down into depression. Edward, furious, blames Jake and soon the whole family agrees with him. Turning on all the shapeshifters once and for all, the Cullens are so blinded with what they think is betrayal they don’t notice the heartbreak the banishment has caused Jacob and Renesmee.
Of course, the two packs don’t even have each other in these troubled times, Leah, Jacob’s Beta, cannot even stand the face of Sam. She loves him more then ever before and it causes her so much pain she takes it out in anger, driving the packs to still stay separate. Not the best choice now, but all those with families or imprints are worried, scared and protective.
So now the humans are afraid, searching for a supposed serial killer; the Cullens have turned from the wolf packs who in return shunned each other and the vampires from their lives. And three angry rouges are on the loose with an army.
Will the packs’ combine? Who else will die? And will the small town of Forks ever be safe again… or will it all go down in
