Three years have passed since Sweeney Todd began his bloody business back on 186 Fleet Street, London. The bodies continue dropping undetected through the chute and are still made into Mrs. Lovett's Famous Meat Pies. After successfully offing Judge Turpin, (eating the Turpin Pie himself), Sweeney has become softer, kinder in his ways (but he still gets a kick out of slicing open throats with his razors). Something of a relationship has sprung up between him and Nellie Lovett, his accomplice, who thinks that at long last she has won him over. However, just as things are starting to look up for the Demon Barber, a new nemesis is found- one whom he'd never known existed.

Darius Turpin, son of the recently-murdered Judge, wants his revenge on whomever killed his father. Thinking himself clever, he devises a plan, along with his own accomplice, Mrs. Mooney, to offer people a shave, then kill them and send them to Mrs. Mooney for pies. Little does he know that such a business exists only just around the corner...

Meanwhile, Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett notice that less and less people are venturing through the doors of both their shops, and become suspicious almost immediately. It's not until they notice that Mrs. Mooney's business is booming and hear talk that a new, far superior barber is in town that they realize what is happening... It's their story all over again.

Who will ultimately win in the battle for business? Will Darius find out about Sweeney? Will he get his revenge? Will a catfight ensue between the pie shop ladies?
