Note: this takes place in the middle of a thread, at detention. Max just found a cellphone outside the room and asked whose it was.
Max noticed the girl who waved her hand around and then mouth 'sorry' to the teacher, meaning the teacher was probably glaring. He couldn't tell; he had his back turned. So he just silently placed the cellphone on the girl's desk and took a seat, dropping his bag on the ground next to him.
By now, the girl had started her homework already. One guy was slumping back in his seat, obviously bored, and another was chewing gum. Max was never sure what to do in detention. Some did homework like the girl, but others just sat around doing nothing. What to do, Max wondered. Well since he didn't feel like doing homework at the moment, he took out a notebook where he was in the middle of writing a one-act play. He could work on that.
How long till detention was over anyway, he wondered as he wrote a particularly heated dialogue between two of the characters. But this thought quickly slipped away as he got more into what he was writing. It was an on-stage argument, and he could picture it in his mind perfectly, as if it was being performed on the back of his eyelids.
*Crack*
Max winced as he heard the sound. His pencil broke. No matter, he could sharpen it. There was a pencil sharpener on the wall he could use. He stood, but the teacher made a gesture, silently ordering him to sit down. "But my pencil..." Max started, but the teacher's glare became even harder as he lifted a single finger to his lips. Max sighed, rolled his eyes, and sat back down in his seat.
Now what?

Also, I'm not sure if you allow the whole double-job thing for the guys. You do for the girls. But what I wonder is, which category would he be in?

Celebrity: Zachary Quinto
Physical Appearance:
Brandon has dark brown hair, usually either ruffled or slicked back. He slicks it back for performances. He also has brown eyes, framed by thick eyebrows. He shaves, although his stubble tends to grow back quickly. He kind of likes the stubbled look, but shaves for his performances.
Although lean, Brandon is actually pretty muscular too. Well obviously; you'd have to be pretty muscular to be in ballet. He's also relatively pale, but he has a tannish hint to his skin, like a clue from the days of his teenagehood, back when he played baseball. Actually, he still kind of has that baseball player frame. He's rather tall too, but not so tall that he sticks out.
Brandon has interesting taste in clothing. He rather likes coats, button-down shirts, and fancier attire. He's grown into liking t-shirts and singlets as well, although you'll never catch him wearing shorts. He also wears contact lenses, although sometimes he loses them and has to resort to wearing his large, dorky glasses.

Personality:
Brandon is a sweet, kind of dorky guy. He usually likes looking good, although there are days when he's in a bad mood and couldn't care less. He also loves cooking and is very good at it. Well, you'd have to be in order to be a great bartender like he is.
Because he is in ballet, some people believe he is gay. However this is incorrect. He does like women. However, because they think he is gay, women flock to him. Everyone wants to be friends with a gay guy, right? They drag him shopping and ask him for advice and all that. But why would any guy want to go through all that? Because at the end of the day, they trust him. After a long hard practice, a Prima may ask him for a backrub, thinking that a gay man is more trustworthy, and wouldn't feel her up. Some of the girls come to him to vent and rant about their latest boyfriend, their parents, or whatever else is bugging them. And he is their shoulder to cry on. And what man wouldn't give to be in such a position? Another reason why he won't come out as straight is because he considers himself "questioning". Meaning, he knows he likes women, but he is not sure if he is bisexual or straight.
In school, Brandon was rather nerdy, and he still kind of is. Even though he knew he was good enough to go professional in ballet, he still studied hard, merely because he enjoyed it. He loved, and still loves, literature, science, and math. When he has spare time, he reads famous novels and books and magazines that revolve around science and math, just for fun.
Being surrounded by so many ladies, you'd think Brandon would be rather smooth. Well, not always. He can be rather awkward at times, and sometimes something will slip out when he meant to just think it. He will often try to turn this into a joke, which sometimes works and sometimes only makes the situation more awkward.
Perhaps because of his awkwardness, Brandon is a bit shy. Sure he's be willing to say hello to someone new at the ballet or Sirens, but other than that... well lets just say you would need to approach him. If he tries to speak to someone new, it may be hard for him to string a sentence together. With his friends, he often jokes that his grace on stage makes up for his lack of grace in speaking. He uses a lot of fillers like "umm" and hates public speaking because of this. However, once you get to know him, he becomes more at ease and makes jokes with people a lot.

History:
It was a rather warm September afternoon in New York. The leaves were just beginning to fall from the trees, showing the arrival of autumn, school, and a new baby boy named Brandon Price. His mother, Virginia, and his father, Gabriel, decided to name the newborn after his mother's father, who had recently passed away. And so, a miracle was born.
For the first few years of his life, Brandon was a lonely boy. He yearned for some sort of playmate, and three years into his life, he got one, in the form of a younger sister named Melinda. When Melinda was five, she started taking ballet lessons. Brandon was intrigued with this delicate dance, and would watch her practices after school. He noticed that with all the girls, there was only one boy. Brandon soon became friends with that boy, and it was this friendship that lead Brandon to beg his parents to allow him to join the ballet class. You see, Brandon finally had a friend, and since they went to different schools, ballet lessons were the only time they had together.
Well long story short, Melinda and the other boy eventually grew out of their ballet phase, but Brandon never did. When Melinda had given up her dancing dreams and decided to become a teacher instead, Brandon continued practicing. His teacher always said there was a lack of men in ballet, and that he had the natural grace to become a professional.
It was in their teenage years that something horrible happened. Brandon and Melinda's father died. Their mother was distraught, and as she was now alone, she decided the family would move to London and stay with their maternal grandmother. Brandon moved on to a better ballet teacher, who urged him to try for a spot in Le Ballet D'or. He did, and to his surprise, he made it. A couple years later, he realized he needed money. He heard of some of the girls getting night jobs at Sirens, a strip club. He figured he could work as a bartender there, and so after inquiring about a job there, he got one.
